Our History
The Harrison International Group has been in business since the fall of 2009 with its first office in Florida. It started out being a company looking to fulfill procurement for diamonds, gold and other precious commodities in Africa. They soon expanded into the infrastructure projects as they realized the countries they were involved in had serious infrastructure problems. This was a turning point for the organization as they began to acquire team members with the expertise needed to address infrastructure needs of developing nations.
In 2013 the company was completely reorganized and moved its office to Charlotte, North Carolina. During this reorganization, recruited a few more members as well as solidified relationships with several other major companies who are now teaming partners with THIG. This turned out to be a good strategic move for the company as it continues to grow.
After acquiring a protocol agreement with the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), THIG opened an office in the country as well, bringing local talent to the table to staff it. THIG is now involved in one of the largest infrastructure projects in the DRC and is working closely with the President’s office to bring these projects to fruition.
